Our morning whale watching saw us traveling down the coast looking for gray whales. Finally we found a cow\/calf pair, almost at Dana point! They were very close to shore playing around, spyhopping and rolling. We also had a very special sighting of a sea otter in the kelp forest in Laguna Beach. Only Captain Ryan&#8217;s 3rd time seeing one, ever! On the 3:00pm trip we found our next whales a little closer to home, right at Crystal Cove. Again, a cow\/calf pair of gray whales that showed great for us. Next we went a few miles offshore where we found plenty of dolphin!
